Tremblant’s 24h of Skiing is a 24-hour relay event with teams of 6 to 12 participants, either on skis or boards, organised to raise funds on behalf of sick or special-needs children. This year I have decided to become involved in the event, which has made a huge difference in the lives of sick, underprivileged or special-needs children for years through the financial support of four foundations: The Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau, the Ottawa Senators Foundation, the Martin-Matte Foundation and the Tremblant Foundation. Directly or indirectly, we are all affected by the plight of children. It is so satisfying and inspiring to know that our efforts translate into real changes in their lives. None of this would have been possible without the kindness of thousands of donors. And that’s why I am asking for your support, and appealing to your generosity, to give to this deserving cause. Brookfield has pledged to match all donations by my friends and family.
