This is my second Tremblant 24h Run race as a part of Team Helly Hansen.
The mission of the Tremblant 24h Foundation is to raise funds for the benefit of children's causes via unique sporting events in the Mont-Tremblant region. The organization has made a huge difference in the lives of sick, underprivileged or special-needs children
The funds raised will directly support the following groups:
1. Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau
2. The Ottawa Senators Foundation
3. The Tremblant Foundation
Directly or indirectly, we are all affected by the plight of children. It is satisfying and inspiring to know that our efforts translate into real changes in their lives.
None of this is possible without the kindness donors and that’s why I am asking for your support, and appealing to your generosity, to give to this deserving cause.
Last year I raised over $700 and in return I did 1,000 burpees.
This year, if I reach my goal of $500, I will do the workout called Heavy Karen – 150 wall ball shots with a 30 lb medicine ball to a 20 ft target. If you don't know what a wall ball shot is, trust me when I say they are more soul crushing than burpees.
