Lai and I are participating in the 24h Tremblant Charity Event in December. This event is a relay challenge for teams of 6 to 12 participants who run or ski for 24 hours (in shifts). We will be running with the Ottawa Bell Media team to raise funds for the Sens Foundation.
We continue to be involved in this charity event because its mission is to help children in need. The 24h Tremblant (16th edition) has made a huge difference in the lives of sick, underprivileged or special-needs children for years. The money our team raises for the Sens Foundation gets funneled back to Ottawa to make a difference in our community.
Knowing that many children need specialized medical treatments, operations, transplants or chemotherapy, and that one in five children live in poverty, we are proud to be participating in this charity event (Lai’s 3rd and my 4th year). We have a lot of fun but know that this weekend is also being with amazing people all raising money for a great cause. The day starts with an emotional breakfast where you actually meet the kids you're helping, hear their stories and become more than inspired. After that, the running begins!
However, none of this would have been possible without the kindness of donors. And that’s why we are asking for your support and generosity, to give to this deserving cause. Please help us reaching our fundraising goal.
Thank you in advance for your generosity,
Mathieu and Lai
